Nautilus SendTo Thunderbird

HowTo use add a "Email To"-Button for Mozilla Thunderbird to Nautilus

If you like to send files by eMail quickly per Mozilla Thunderbird in Nautilus you'll need to install the package nautilus-actions.

1. After you've installed nautilus-actions successfully you need choose System « Preferences... « Nautilus-Actions
2. Add a new action
3. Type a name, the path

   thunderbird

4. and the parameters are

   -compose "attachment=%u"

   and save it.
   Note: If you have Thunderbird 1.5 (or minor?) you must replace "thunderbird" with "mozilla-thunderbird".
5. Restart Nautilus with

   nautilus -q

That's it! Now you may right click on a file and select Email... (or whatever you typed as the name) to send a file as an attachment in Thunderbird.
